Prepare for CLB 9 with practice you can check.
Full practice tests built on the published format, every question written to a target level. Feedback designed to revise your own sentences, not hand you a template. And a public trust panel with every accuracy number we have — and the ones we have not measured yet.

Estimated levels
Published 2024 mean for the skillCLB 9 and above
Source CELPIP Data Report of 2024 Test Takers (Paragon Research Reports, PDF)
Estimated from your number of correct answers with the approximate chart the test provider publishes. Our practice forms are not yet equated to the score scale the test itself uses, so read it as a range. Not a CELPIP score. Writing and Speaking are not scored in the beta yet.
Holding your level down
The report picks the one pattern to fix first, with a retry aimed at it.
Why 9
Level 9 is the threshold. Most test takers do not reach it.

The trust panel
The receipts. Including the ones we cannot show yet.
Every accuracy figure is published with its sample size and date. When a number does not exist, the panel says “not yet measured” — an empty box beats a made-up one.

Practice difficulty vs. published 2024 levels
Not yet measured
Target: deviation within ±0.25 level. Published when the measurement exists.
Reported and corrected items
Not yet measured
Target: published monthly. Published when the measurement exists.
Estimate vs. reported result (beta cohort)
Not yet measured
Target: MAE ≤ 1 CLB. Published when the measurement exists. It needs test takers who share their result — you can be one.
The learning loop
Feedback that starts from your sentence, not a template.
Nothing to learn by heart. The feedback quotes what you wrote, names the pattern, shows your sentence revised — then hands you a fresh prompt of the same task type.
Not live yet. Writing and Speaking feedback is still being built; the example shows how it is designed to work.
Diagnose
Every miss gets an error tag. The one that costs you most rises to the top.
Your sentence, revised
Side by side, with the reason. Your ideas stay yours.
Targeted retry
A new prompt of the same task type, focused on that one tag.

Invented example
You wrote
Hey, the Saturday swim class was cancelled again I paid for the whole month, I want my money back.
Your sentence, revised
Hello, the Saturday swim class was cancelled again. Since I paid for the whole month, I would like my money back.
- readability.run-onRun-on sentencesTwo complete thoughts ran together. A full stop, then “since”, shows how they connect.
- task.wrong-toneWrong tone“Hey” and “I want” sound casual in an email to an organization; “Hello” and “I would like” ask for the same thing, politely.
Market review · September 2026
The market is crowded on price and thin on proof.
We reviewed 22 preparation products and more than 200 public reviews. Findings are aggregated; no product is named. Method and limits are on the methodology page.

“Practice was easier than the test.”
Every question is written to a target level, and each section’s targets are set to average out at the published 2024 mean. Whether the finished tests really land there is a trust-panel metric — not yet measured, and the panel says so.
“The AI score changed every time.”
Writing and Speaking scoring runs several independent passes and reports a range. We measured how far repeated scorings of the same response drift apart, and the trust panel shows it. In the beta it is not open to learners yet.
“Just a number, no idea what to fix.”
Your report names the one pattern holding your level down, with a retry aimed at it. For Writing and Speaking, feedback is designed to quote your own sentence and show it revised — not live yet.
“The timer disappeared, the mic dropped.”
The clock never leaves the screen. Speaking moves from preparation to recording to saving on its own. The exam flow is covered by automated end-to-end tests at phone and desktop widths.
“I paid and could not use it.”
Your first full test is free, so you see the microphone and the clock work on your device before you pay anything. Quotas are printed on the pricing page.
Exam mode
The sitting, as the format is published. Nothing softened.
When a section starts, the product steps aside: a neutral screen, high contrast, and a fixed bar with section, part and time. The mechanics other tools drop are the ones we keep.

One sitting, no breaks157–179 min
One play per recording
No replay, no seeking. The questions and their options appear on screen when the recording ends.
No pause, in any mode
Once “Begin section” starts the clock, it runs to the end.
Speaking runs itself
Preparation time, then recording starts and stops on its own, then it is saved.
Device check first
Sound, and the microphone when Speaking is included, are checked before any clock starts.
