How the CELPIP® test works
Four components in one sitting, 157–179 minutes, in a fixed order. This guide covers the published structure and the mechanics of sitting it. It does not give you sentences to reuse — see below for why.
Once you begin, the clock does not stop. There is no pause in any part of this test.

Why there are no templates here
An opener learned by heart is not a neutral shortcut. Answers that match text circulating online can be flagged, and the result that follows is not the one you sat for. Everything on these pages is structure — what a task asks, how long you get, what is judged — and approach: how to read the task and decide what to put in it. The words stay yours.

The test drive puts every mechanic in front of you once — single-play audio, the live word count, the recorder that starts and stops on its own. It is untimed, unscored, and it does not use a test from your quota.
